SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed in regards to the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated more info Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service level made for intervention experiences a large inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to empower the servicing of all customers and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
